Division of State Representation in the international
courts and arbitrage
The
main functions of the Department of International Private Law are:
-
Legal
expertise of draft contract assessed for more, than GEL 1 million
or imply dispute settlement in international arbitrage or international
court;
-
Discussion of
draft contracts of enterprises where state owns more than 50% of shares
and these contracts imply dispute settlement in international arbitrage
or international court;
-
State
representation in international arbitrages or courts;
-
Legal
expertise of draft contracts concerning state grants, credits and state
guarantees;
-
Legalization of notarized documentation which must be presented abroad;
-
Apostille;
-
Coordination of cooperation and monitoring of fulfillment of obligations
within the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
The Department includes
following divisions:
