The Enforcement Department
The Enforcement Department
is the structural unit of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. It was
founded according to Law of Georgia on “Enforcement Procedures” on the 22
of January 2001. The Chairman is the head of Department and he/she has two
deputies (one of them is First).
The structural units of the Department are:

Division of the
enforcement procedures of Eastern Georgia;
Division of the
enforcement procedures of Western Georgia;
Division of Statistics,
Analyze and Finance;
Division of enforcement
police;
Chancellery.
Enforcement
Bureaus
Enforcement bureaus are
territorial entities of the Enforcement Department; their activities are
defined under the Law of Georgia on “Enforcement Procedures”. Within the
competence of the enforcement bureaus is to enforce judgments/court
decrees and other administrative acts as provided by article 2 of Law of
Georgia on “Enforcement Procedures”.
Enforcement Bureaus are:
a) Enforcement Bureau of Tbilisi – No. 8a, III block, Vaja-Pshavela
Ave.
Tbilisi;
b) Enforcement Bureau of Imereti –3 Sadguri Street, Kutaisi;
c) Enforcement Bureau of Kvemo Kartli – 21 Rustaveli Street, Rustavi;
d) Enforcement Bureau of Shida Kartli –1 Shmagi Street, Gori.;
e) Enforcement Bureau of Kakheti –4 Davitashvili Street, Telavi;
f) Enforcement Bureau of Guria –14 Sioridze Street, Ozurgeti;
g) Enforcement Bureau of Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti – 12 Lagidze
Street, Zugdidi;
h) Enforcement Bureau of Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 17 Samxedro Street,
Mtskheta,;
i) Enforcement Bureau of Samtskkhe-Javakheti – 62 Mebagishvili Street,
Akhaltsikhe;.
j) Enforcement Bureau of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 1 Tamar
Mepe Street,
Ambrolauri;
Enforcement Bureau of
Enforcement Police
The basic objective of the
Enforcement Police is to render assistance to court bailiffs while
enforcing court judgments. In addition, the enforcement police also
undertake inquiries related to offences revealed during the enforcement.
